Terms of participation

• crew members‘ age – ideally older then 16 years – stating the date of birth in the „crewlist“
• valid licenses in the crew: skipper’s license & VHF/SRC license – presented at registration onsite
• proof of a valid deposit insurance – deposit insurance document or confirmation of payment – provided at the latest during registration onsite or sent by email in advance
• membership registration at Slovak sailing federation or in any other national sailing federation – you registration number needs to be filled in into the registration/ crewlist data sheet at latest at the start of the regatta, onsite (organizer can provide single-use membership registration in the Slovak Sailing Federation upon request – this needs to be requested latest 7days prior the start of the regatta)

One of our goals is to boost „safe sailing“ in all areas & skippers‘ mindful decisions about chartering a boat and regatta participation – therefore we will provide crews with a recommended offer for insurance (crew, skipper or boat deposit) so that they can focus on their racing goals feeling secure & safe. The organization is brining more professionals and ribs to secure safety on the water too.

Entry fee

• 6 230,- Eur – crews aspiring to win the new Slovak regatta in Salona 46 keelboats (max. 10 crew members)
• sailboats First 45 will only be available upon request as accompanying sailboat, that can take part in the training process, only when Salonas 46 are booked out – for more information on entry fee and rental contact the organizer

The price is comparable to sound Czech, Austrian & Croatian regattas. We have mainly optimized the food costs to ensure comfort & leave more freedom to the crews in the choice of food selection.

Based on your filled in Entry form you will receive detailed information on the entry fee payment and the conditions of participation, as well as the possibilities of change or cancellation via email.

• crew need to pay 50% of the entry fee upon Entry (up to 14 days from confirming the Entry via email)
• the second payment of 50% will be due 2 months prior the first Regatta day

The organizing team is familiar with the needs of the crews and also the need for rest & comfort after racing day. Organizer is ready to assist crews & skippers with booking accommodation in the locations where the racing days will end.
